ABOUT
Copper Hills High Theater began in the fall of 1995 when the school opened. Since the opening of the school, the Theatre Department has established and continued a rich tradtion of performance in productions, class work and festivals.
The program opened under the direction of Kent Burrell who moved from West Jordan High School to begin the program. Having a rich foundation in performance and technical theatre, Kent helped design the facilities and pick the equipment and supplies for the Auditorium. Kent taught at Copper Hills from 1995 until 2000, then moved to Jordan High School where he continued to teach until retirement in 2013.
