Crazy For You Auditions - Auditorium

Tuesday September 6th & Wednesday September 7th, 2011 @ 2:45 p.m.

Students should bring 16 measures (bars) of an audition song with minus track accompaniment or an accompanist to play for them. The song should showcase vocal abilities and strengths. NO POP SONGS PLEASE! They should also have prepared a monologue between 1 and 2 minutes that showcases character and emotion.

Crazy For You Dance Auditions - Stage

Thursday September 8th, 2011 @ 6:00 a.m.

Dance auditions are required to be considered for participation in the musical. Students should come in comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement. Students should eat and be well hydrated before participating in dance auditions. They will be taught a dance routine in groups and perform for the choreographer after several practice sessions.

Crazy For You Call back Auditions - Choir Room

Thursday September 8th, 2011 @ 3:00 p.m.

Selected students will be called back to read and sing again for the directors. Students who are not called back are still considered for roles in the musical. The final cast list is posted online after call back auditions.

A.C.T.S. Auditions - Drama Room

Wednesday October 12th & Thursday October 13th, 2011 @ 2:45 p.m.

Students should pick up an audition packet from Mr. Morrell at the end of September. Materials will be related to the plays being produced. Students should prepare one of the selctions for performance in front of playwright and director.

Friday October 14th, 2011 @ 2:45 p.m.

Students will be called back to read again. Materials will be related to the plays being produced. The cast list for shows will be posted online later that evening, along with rehearsal schedules.

Monday November 28th, Tuesday November 29th & Wednesday November 30th @ 2:45 p.m.

Students should come prepared with a monologue that is at least two minutes long.

Thursday December 1st, 2011 @ 2:45 p.m.

Students will be called back to read again. Materials will be related to the play being produced. The cast list for shows will be posted online later that evening, along with rehearsal schedules.

Monday January 9th, Tuesday January 10th, 2012 @ 2:45 p.m.

Students should come prepared with a monologue that is at least two minutes long. The cast list for shows will be posted online later that evening, along with rehearsal schedules.

Drama Rama 2012: Auditions - Drama Room

Monday March 5th, Tuesday March 6th & Wednesday Wednesday March 7th, 2012 @ 2:45 p.m.

Students should come prepared with a monologue that is at least one minute or longer. Students may also be asked to improvise something by the directors.
