Audition Information and Requirments

Musicals: Students are required to bring 16 bars or measures of a song with an accompanist or minus-track accompaniment to the audition at their scheduled time. NO POP SONGS PLEASE! They should also prepare a 1-2 minute monologue that demonstrates good character, emotion and depth. Students are also required to attend the mandatory Dance Audition. Students who fail to meet these expectations may jeapordize their chances at being cast.

Plays: Students are required to bring a memorized monologue between 2-3 minutes in length that demonstrates character, emotion and depth. The monologue should demonstrate the particular acting strengths of the student.

Theatre Productions (Theatre4): Students should have a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue (written after 1900) and 1-2 minute classical monologue (written before 1900) as well as 16 to 20 bars of a song, with minus-track accompaniment. NO POP SONGS PLEASE!
